AFCAT stands for the Air Force Common Admission Test and is also referred to as the Indian Air Force exam. It is a national level competitive exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) twice i.e. AFCAT I and AFCAT II in a year to select officers for all its branches except for the medical and dental branches.
AFCAT II 2020 exam was held in the month of Oct, 2020. The result declaration is expected to be in December 2020. Along with all these important information board has also provided Syllabus for various posts. The candidates can check the complete syllabus in the below article.
AFCAT Syllabus is based on the graduation level knowledge for all the subjects except the numerical ability. The syllabus for numerical ability will be of matriculation level. AFCAT Syllabus in Detail
IAF is the conducting body of the national level competitive exam for the admission in Indian Air Force popularly known as AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). IAF provides Syllabus or the exam a few months before the exam on its official website afcat.cdac.in.
As per the official notification, the AFCAT syllabus 2021 includes four main sections i.e. General Awareness, Verbal English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability & Military Aptitude Test.

AFCAT Syllabus: General Awareness
The first section is General Ability tests consisting of 20 questions to test the candidates’ general knowledge through the process. In order to score the maximum in this section, students must know about topics on which the questions will be asked in the exam. The topics are mentioned below:

As shown in the above figure, the AFCAT and EKT exam are computer-based tests (online mode). The number of questions asked in AFCAT is 100 and 50 in EKT. The maximum marks for AFCAT are 300 and 150 for EKT. Duration of the exam will be 2 hrs(120 minutes) and 45 minutes for AFCAT and EKT respectively. There will be negative marking of 1 mark in both
